What I collect, and why
When you submit a form, I collect the details you type: your name, email, mobile number (where asked), where you are in your search, and the message or figures you entered — on the calculator, that includes the numbers you put in, so I can email you the same breakdown you saw. I also record which page you submitted from and the advertising campaign identifiers (UTM tags) on the link you arrived by, so I know which ads and pages are working. I use this only to send what you asked for, reply to you, and follow up by text and email about new homes, as the note under each form’s button explains (you can opt out at any time).
Who processes it
- Netlify hosts this website and receives its form submissions. Your form submissions are stored with Netlify.
- Google — your form details are recorded automatically in my lead register (Google Sheets) when you submit a form; I review every entry personally.
- BoldTrail (Sphere) — my brokerage's client system. If you become a client contact, your details are held there under the brokerage's systems.
- Meta (Facebook) — this site uses the Meta pixel, which measures visits and form submissions and lets me show ads to people who visited (retargeting). To opt out, change your ad preferences in your Facebook account settings, or use your browser’s tracking protection or a content blocker.
Several of these companies process data on servers outside Canada, including in the United States.
Text a code instead?
Some of my signs and posts invite you to text a code (such as ANDYNEW) to (825) 605-4492. If you do, your number and message go into the same client system (BoldTrail/Sphere) and are used the same way as a form submission — to send what you asked for and, only with your consent, to follow up. Reply STOP to end texts at any time.
How long I keep it
I keep lead records for 24 months from our last contact, then delete them, unless a longer period is required by law or my brokerage.
Your choices
Consent is never required to get what you asked for. If you change your mind, reply STOP to any text, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or contact me at andy.maan@royallepage.ca and I will withdraw your details from follow-up. You can also ask me what I hold about you, or ask me to delete it.
